Mark your calendars! An amazing 3-day event is coming to Planting Justice's El Sobrante Nursery this May with @kill.joy.land and @kitchentable.puppetspress. All activations are free, but donations to support events like this are appreciated!

Fri 5/15, 1-4pm

Linocut workshop: learn how to carve linoleum blocks for making small prints using spoon imagery. Take home a group printed poster, stickers, patches. Leave behind 2 patches for Kitchen Table. Space is limited🥄 Sign up now to RSVP and reserve your spot! 

Sat 5/16, 1-4pm
Effigy build: adorn a preexisting🧊puppet with paint and cardboard cut outs to be burned the next day. Also bring anything from home you’d like to burn and alchemize. Court documents, junk mail, letters, notes, etc. We’re preparing a prayer🙏🏽

Sun 5/17, 1-6pm
Community soup and effigy burn: Spend a Sunday making a big community sinigang soup with us with fresh Planting Justice vegetables. In the evening, we’ll gather around our adorned effigy as we eat soup and watch our prayers alchemize❤️‍🔥

We are honored to share our space as we build community and make art together. Also, soup!
