Join us on the land this Spring to gather for light refreshments and conversation centered on growing cut flowers for beautiful bouquets.
All experience levels from blooming beginners to flower fanatics are welcome!
Topics of discussion include but arent limited to:
- growing from seeds/ bulbs and the difference between these lifecycles
- which blooms are edible vs. toxic, support IPM, or are medicinal
- considerations for bouquet making/ choosing flowers to arrange together and how to care for blooms once theyve been cut.
- supportive infrastructure, wind tunnels, trellising, shade cloth etc.
